Smile Savvy is making the Candy Buy Back campaign easier this year for our social media customers. You’ll be able to reach out to your community, encourage kids to eat less candy, increase awareness of your dental practice and support our troops overseas using our turnkey campaign and marketing materials. How it works:
- Complete the short questionnaire by Friday, October 9th: Simply go here.
- We’ll schedule your Facebook posts, set up your Facebook App, place a link on your website, and email you the customized flyer and printable Savvy Sign.
- You tell everyone you know, including local news outlets.
- This campaign is exclusively set up for $1 per pound up to five pounds.
- When the campaign closes, you’ll pack up the candy and send it to Operation Gratitude. We’ve got more information on that below.
Are there limitations?
Unfortunately, because of the volume of posts we have to create for this campaign, we are only able to provide Simple and Super Savvy customers with limited customization for the graphics of your flyers and posts. Customization only includes your logo, the date(s) time(s) of candy collection and your address. This campaign is set up for $1 per pound of candy up to five pounds. Candy is to be given to our troops through Operation Gratitude. Additional details specific to your practice can be listed in the text of your Facebook post. Smile Savvy is only able to help with the marketing of this campaign. The running of the campaign and delivery of the candy are the responsibility of each practice.
Why $1 for each pound up to 5 pounds?
This format was the most popular for all of our customers last year. It provides an adequate incentive for kids to bring in their candy while placing a limit on how much dental practices will spend.
What is Operation Gratitude?
Operation Gratitude annually sends 150,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation, to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Care Givers and to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas. Their Candy Buy Back program is one of the best in the country. Details on sending in candy and more info on Operation Gratitude can be found on their website.
What Extras are there for Ultra Savvy Social Media Customers?
Ultra Savvy Social Media Customers are eligible for a complimentary patient email blast. Simply submit your patient email list and we’ll handle the rest. We’ll also make an announcement on your blog to further spread the news. Finally, we’re able to offer a higher level of campaign customization should you have different goals campaign details.
